As Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting with the direction and oversight of all culinary operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. 

• Assist the Chef in the direction of all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulation.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes, as needed.

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job.

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

• Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• A passion for food, beverage and delivering exceptional levels of Guest service.

• Always aware of latest market trends and industry updates.

• 2 - 3 years minimum experience in a similar role in a hotel chain.
